Even when a new school year just starts, thoughts soon turn to spring break. Planning a spring break location can be tough since there are so many great choices. There isn’t too many ways students like to spend spring break, they find a town or hot vacation spot and lay on the beach and drink during the day and then find the nearest club and party some more. Here are some spring break hotspots that are popular specificlly for gay students.

The most popular is Cancun Mexico. They have white sand beaches and clear blue water. There is so much you can do while in Cancun besides hanging out on the beach. You can check out the ancient ruins located around Cancun, if you are interested in history. There are plenty of water sports like parasailing, snorkeling and just playing in the sun. You can check out Playa del Carmen or Tulum that have some great beaches.

Another great location for spring break for gay students is the Bahamas and Jamaica. Both of these islands are located in the Caribbean where the beaches are white and the water is blue. There is a huge invasion of spring break students that flock to the Caribbean for spring break. You can get some really great deals on hotels and airfare but you have to book early.

Another great spring break spot is Acapulco. The warm sun and the white sand beaches are just two reasons to visit Acapulco. You can check out Puerta Vallarta and Playa Pie de la Cuesta. There are plenty. There are plenty of great hotel accommodations to choose from, there are plenty of hotels located on the main strip. There is a great village called Puerto Marques, you should definitely check it out. Like the other spring break locations.

If you are looking to stay a bit closer to home then check out the Miami and South Beach, Florida. Miami and South Beach are two of the most popular cities in Florida. They have great beaches, great shopping and for students on spring break they have a great nightlife and plenty of great restaurants. There are other places around Florida that are just as fun except for Fort Lauderdale, they used to be a big party city for spring breakers but not so much anymore. The city kind of frowns on spring breakers. You will have a great time in Miami and South Beach even if you lie on the beach all day.

There are so many great places to go on spring break, these locations are great for students both gay students and straight students. Spring break is not about sexual orientation, it is a rite of passage for some and students do matter who they are deserve to have good time and a safe time too. When you choose any of these locations, check around either online or with a travel agent to find out where the clubs are and which restaurants are good to eat.
