Spring Break Las VegasRelated ArticlesLas Vegas, Nevada is one of the most popular destinations for vacationers and students on spring break. Las Vegas is more for older students since you have to be 21 to gamble and 21 to get into most bars in Las Vegas. Unlike the spring break trips to Mexico and Florida, this spring break is for older students. Since there are older students here, chances are this is not their first spring break. Even though Las Vegas is a party town there isn’t so much of a party atmosphere like you may see in places like Cancun or Panama City Beach, Florida.
Older students know and understand that they have more to lose if they act inappropriately they understand that they must be responsible for their actions. If you are planning a spring break trip to Las Vegas, plan early. Not only are students flocking there for spring break but there are also people vacationing from all over the United States. There are plenty of hotels to choose from that are located on the strip as well as off. Each hotel on the strip have a theme Treasure Island is a Pirate Theme, The Luxor is Egyptian Theme, the Paris is a Paris Theme and New York, New York has a, you guessed it a New York Theme. There are so many other hotels that are just as great as these. There are some great hotels are located off the strip. There are some hotels that have a reputation for being party hotels like the hard Rock Café and the Palms Hotels. Las Vegas can be a great place to go for spring break but there are some things that you need to know. Las Vegas is a party city and most people go there for two things drinking and gambling. It can still be a dangerous place. Las Vegas Blvd is a great place with a lot of lights and sights. Once you venture off the Strip and head downtown the area can be a bit seedy. Downtown there is a place called Fremont Street, the area is well lit and there are some great hotels such as Golden Nugget and the older hotels. There are plenty of bars down there and this is where you can get into trouble. There are plenty of clubs and bars inside the hotels located on the Strip. These clubs are safe and if you are staying in the hotel where these clubs are located it would be safer. Never go back to anyone’s room when leaving the club. Stay with friends and never leave your drinks or food alone. The idea is to have a great time on spring break but you want to stay safe and though Las Vegas is considered safe you still have to worry about your safety and while you don’t have to be paranoid about leaving your hotel, you just want to be aware of your surroundings and be careful. |
