One of the most stressful things for parents who have teenagers is figuring out how to afford college. The costs of college are rising significantly, and many parents go severely into debt in order to be able to help their children get the best education that they can get. There are, thankfully, scholarships out there that can help students, and their parents, to be able to afford college, but most believe that scholarships for college students are only handed out to geniuses. The truth, however, is that there is a scholarship for students no matter if they’re on the genius scale or not. Writing the Essay

Almost all scholarships for college students will ask that you write an essay. Usually the scholarship committee asks that you tell them why you deserve the scholarship that they have. Think of it this way: they have money and want to know why you should get the money that they’ve got out of all the other applicants that they have.

When it comes to applying for a job after your schooling is done, you learn that a cover letter is key. It’s the thing that catches the employer’s eye and is what gives them the feeling of who you really are.
