    When students are looking for something more in life than just a College education they look towards the military. One of the branches that is most often looked at is the Marines. The Marines is a wonderful opportunity to earn income while training for a career. The Marine Corps has a full pension that can provide everything you need and more for your family. The while you are on duty you will be paid at the same rate of pay as the other branches of the military.     Then after you retire from the Marines, your medical benefits will run through the lifetime for not just you but your family as well. You will have affordable healthcare and medical facilities available to active Marines. In addition, every Marine is entitled to free on base housing. Most Marines so live on base unless they are authorized to live elsewhere. If you are authorized to live off base then the Marines will offer you a monthly housing allowance.
