    Each Olympics brings hundreds of Kodak moments. To get you psyched for the Olympics moments to come, here are some of the most memorable Summer Olympic moments of the last 20 years. 1. Los Angeles, 1984. Carl Lewis duplicates Jesse Owens' 1936 feat by winning four golds in track and field. 2. The former Soviet Union, 1980. The United States boycotts, and hundred of Olympic dreams are crushed. 3. Los Angeles, 1984. Mary Lou Retton scores a perfect 10 on the vault and becomes the first U.S. gymnast to win the overall Olympic title. 4. Seoul, 1988. Despite smacking his head on the springboard, Greg Louganis wins gold in springboard and platform diving to match his feat in the '84 games. 5. Barcelona, 1992. Despite a torn hamstring, British runner Derek Redmond hobbles across the finish line in the 400 with help from his father, Jim. This moment is what the games are all about. No, not falling on your ass, but finishing what you start, or something like that. 6. Atlanta, 1996. With gold shoes shining, Michael Johnson completes the sprinters double, winning the 200 and 400meter dashes. 7. Seoul, 1988. Roy Jones, Jr., who would go on to become the best pound for pound fighter in the world, was first part of one of the biggest Olympic controversies in history. Jones dominated his opponent in the gold medal match, but lost in a widely disputed decision and nearly refused his silver medal. 8. Atlanta, 1996. The women's gymnastics team, a.k.a. the Magnificent Seven, grabbed our hearts and TV dollars while they made their incredible run to the team gold. 9. Seoul, 1988. Carl Lewis seemed to have a lock in the Olympics' biggest event, the men's 100 meter dash, but Ben Johnson came out of nowhere to record the greatest time in the history of the event. Turns out he was juiced up more than light fixture store. Johnson was stripped of the title. 10. Seoul, 1988. With crazy fingernails and a flashy outfit, Florence GriffithJoyner put on a performance that might not ever be topped: FloJo broke the world record in the women's 100 and 200 meters.
