Refining Your RealityRelated ArticlesI've been confronting myself a lot about every aspect of my life the past months. Not entirely sure of the ultimate effect that it has on my mentality, or perception, I'm starting to play with the idea of taking the next step. I've faced my demons, I've become more comfortable in my skin than I ever have, and it's time to put these realizations into practical use.
The more you become aware of the changes, the evolution of meaning to the things around you, the more prominent of a reality they become. Without realization, the bubble of oblivion you've created yourself remains in tact;sheltered, for good or bad, from the vast possibilities outside of your realm.
Once they become your realm, there's no going back to the once unaltered simplicities of things, the commonsense logic of what you percieved once upon a time. Even your perception changes drastically. Actually, I think that's the most tangible noticeability of the entire encounter of mental growth.
As your mind evolves, your perception begins to mould to your newfound realities, connecting you to ideas and thoughtprocesses never before experienced. It can be both embracing yet overwhelming simultaneously. What does it all mean? What do these transitions tell us? That.. perhaps there is no end to the developement of wisdom. Your mind never stays in it's one form, and never repeats a form priorly taken. It's an ongoing trail of answered and unanswered maybe's, whatif's and could it be's. It all leads down to the same question. What am I?
You know.. there is no strength more powerful than that of truly accepting yourself. Once you've mastered this, you become unbeatable to words, to judgement and to conflicting thoughts. You overpower it all.
There are times where it seems as though your insecurities are getting the better of you, but it doesn't have to be this way. Disallow your mind to narrow itself. Keep well intouch with your periferals. Those thoughts and feelings take up very little space in the grand scheme of things. Once you get a glimpse of the outside, focus, and look inward again. Your world will warm. Your eyes will soften. Your mind will give way to all the positives you have to be thankful for. They'll shine overtop any black speck of negative.
For, there's too much goddamned beauty in the world to dwell on the little things that seem to encompass the best of us. Let your mind blossom and grow... and you'll find yourself forever content, even with the wash of endless questions that tend to fill our heads.
