    Vampires Creatures of the Night.

Some people think vampires aren't real and that they are only in the movies.

Some people think vampires are only creatures that come out at night to suck someone's blood for food, and that the sun will make them burn to ashes.

But there are real vampires that suck their own blood and blood from people and animals.

Transylvania was the home of the most famous vampire of all; Count Dracula and his haunted castle. Transylvania is the home for the real creatures of the night.

People think tha't vampires are only people that come out at night to suck someones blood for food, and that the sun will make them burn to ashes. Because of the movies and T.V., like The Queen of the Damned, The Lost Boys, The Forsaken, Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie, Angel, and one of the most popular t.v shows on vampires is Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

But real vampires are nothing like that.

There are different types of vampires:

    Psychic Vampires
These are people who, for whatever reason, derive nourishment from"feeding" from the "life energy" of people around them

SpiritInfluenced" Vampires These are, no doubt the most frustrating cases to study because they differ so widely. In the one case I have been able to study, the vampire was involved in demonology and either erred or made a pact he later regretted. It seems that certain "spirits" or "demons" can give people some of the characteristics of other types of vampires in exchange for partial possession.

Viral" Vampires This is the category where I have had the most expirience. "Viral" vampires are the ones that seem to have the most reason to call themselves vampires. This "virus" is what causes the change to take place. It is passed on through blood, sexual secretions, and occasionally saliva. Transmission is usually deliberate and ritualistic. I have heard of one case where the wouldbe vampire "got over" the virus, and a few cases where the recievers died during the process. It is unknown if this is an actual virus or if the effects are psychosomatic based on the archetype of the American Vampire. Nonetheless, the effects and changes associated with this type of vampirism are real.

Vampires By Birth This is by far the largest catagory of vampires I have met over the 'net. It seems that in some circles, the proper answer to the question of "Are you a Vampire?" is, "All my life." This type differs very little from the viral variety, if at all, other then how they got that way. Many vampires by birth can trace their vampirism through several ancesters, though not always in a direct line. It seems that this type of vampirism may be genetic, being a recessive trait, according to one fellow researcher I know. Many vampires by birth are somewhat indignant towards those of the viral veriety, kind of like a king from an ancient houde would be towards a king at the start of a royal line. Vampires form birth do have their share of problems, however.

    Immortal Vampires
What can be said? They are elusive. I've heard rumors as to their existance, but despite intense research, I have not found any real proof. One person I know claims to have spoken with one, but I cannot verify his account. The theory I am going on is that immortals are possibly an extremely powerful strain of the "viral" variety. The characteristics are almost identical, with the exception of intensity. Again, this is a virtually unexplored topic because of the lack of evidence.

Those are some of the reasons why some people think they are vampires, but some people get so fascinated in vampires that they thimk they actually change into a vampire.

There was an actual vampire clan that got convicted of murder back in 1996.

Heres the story of the Vampire Clan

MURRAY, Kentucky. (AP) For years, this quiet college town was perhaps best known as home of the national Boy Scout museum. Now it is newly notorious, and its residents increasingly afraid, with the discovery that some of its teens belonged to a vampire cult. The news that four area teenagers are suspected of beating a Florida couple to death was frightening enough. Now prosecutors say the youths were involved in a strange roleplaying game that went much too far from the mutilation of animals to drinking each other's blood and eventually to murder. Few would discuss the case with outsiders, but the cult was the hot topic of hushed gossip among residents. "People are talking about it," said Greg Duncan, sipping coffee at the Hungry Bear restaurant. "Some people are afraid." Details remain sketchy but the secretive cult known as "The Vampire Clan" is believed to have been active in Murray, where members were suspected of breaking into an animal shelter and mutilating two puppies. "The fear of the unknown is always greater than the fear of the known," said another man at the Hungry Bear, who refused to give his name.

Murray, a semirural town of about 13,000, lies in southwestern Kentucky near the Tennessee state line. Murray State University is there, a 8,300student school known for its basketball program. Now the town is linked to three Murray teens arrested along with another youth from nearby Mayfield. All four, along with the daughter of the slain couple, were arrested on Thanksgiving night in Baton Rouge, La. All are suspected in the Nov. 25 slayings of Richard and Naoma Wendorf of Eustis, Fla.

Police say Rod Ferrell met the Wendorf's 15yearold daughter, Heather, when he lived in Eustis with his father. Ferrell, 16, moved back to Murray last year to live with his mother. It was Ferrell who police think broke into the animal shelter, stomping one dog to death and pulling the legs off another. Neighbors at the public housing complex where he lived say they never noticed anything unusual about him or his mother, Sondra Gibson. Yet Ms. Gibson is herself charged with solicitation to commit rape. Police say she wrote to a 14yearold, inviting sex and hinting she was involved in vampiretype activity. "I longed to be near you ... to become a Vampire, a part of the family immortal and truly yours forever," the letter reads. "You will then come for me and cross me over and I will be your bride for eternity and you my sire." Accused with Ferrell and Ms. Wendorf of killing the Wendorfs are Dana Cooper, 19, of Murray, and Scott Anderson, 16, of Mayfield. Charity Keesee, 16, of Murray was charged with being an accessory to murder. Extradition proceedings in Baton Rouge are to begin Monday. Calloway County prosecutor David Harrington described Ms. Cooper as a "follower, someone who wanted to be liked. Probably easily manipulated." A young woman stopped in a grocery store who graduated from Calloway County High School with Ms. Cooper last year said the girl craved attention. "But this vampire stuff?" she asked, refusing to give her name. "There was nothing that suggested that. She was just strange."

Harrington said the youths were involved in an on
going roleplaying game, but that Ferrell had begun to take the vampire game more seriously, scaring others into quitting. "The animal shelter thing was the first visible sign he had gone beyond gameplaying," Harrington said, refusing to disclose more details because the accused are minors. Perhaps the most frightened man in town was Ferrell's grandfather, Harold Gibson. But his fears were for his grandson, not of the youth, whom he insisted was not the group's leader. And he said he fears for himself. "What if they come after me?" Gibson said at his home Saturday, suddenly overcome by tears. "They're saying Rod is a monster. A monster! He's not a monster, he's not." Harrington was eager to write off the lurid story as an isolated escapade. "I think you had a group of kids that just wanted to be a part of something, wanted to belong to a group," he said. "And it went too far. Hopefully, it's over."

Yeah the people that got killed died an awful death. Its very sad.

But that is the story on Vampires. So for the non believers maybe that changed your mind and maybe not. But I do believe in vampires. So for the non believers you better watch out cause the one peron who you accenttly bump in to on the street could be an actual vampire, or just an ordinary person, but you will never know.
