Christianity

Most people perceive Christians as people who are stuck up. That is not who real Christians are. Real Christians are people who are loving, compassionate, and are trying to live for God every moment and every day of their lives. The main judgement of Christians stems from bad experiences from only a few people who then pass on the story to their friends and then they pass it on to their friends and so on. That is why Christianity is such a looked down upon religion.

Christians are people who believe that Jesus is their Savior. Jesus being their Savior means that Jesus was a man who walked this earth and was crucified on the cross. When Jesus was crucified, he took every sin that ever had happened and will ever happen and took them as blame on Himself. Jesus is your ticket to Heaven. Jesus was God's son and the human form of God. Because Jesus was God, he walked this earth as a perfect person. He healed people and performed miracles on a daily basis.

Before Jesus walked Earth, there was a huge set of rules that you had to follow if you wanted to get into Heaven. If you broke any of them, you weren't going. God created us as sinful people and so he decided to send someone to take the place of broken rules. That someone was Jesus.

Jesus as born of the Virgin Mary. His birth was a miraculous one. Jesus then grew into the man he was when he died. People made fun of him and yelled at him for saying he was perfect and that he was the Son of God. No one really believed that he was the Son of God except mainly for the people that he directly affected.

Jesus was then crucified along with two robbers on either side of him. When Jesus died, God looked away, because Jesus was full of sin. Jesus then rose three days after he was crucified and now lives at the right hand of God.

When you accept that everyone sins including you, you acknowledge that the Devil is on the earth. The Devil, is the fallen angel, Lucifer. Lucifer decided that he wanted all of the glory that God was being given so God kicked Lucifer out of Heaven. The devil is what takes you away from God. Everytime you sin, the Devil has acted in your life.

When you sin, you are drawn away from God. Jesus was sent so that when you accept that he died for your sins, God sees you as perfect. Jesus is your basic middle man saying that someone is okay to go into Heaven. When you truly accept that Jesus is your savior, your life isn't perfect. You still sin, you still feel crappy, you still mess up. God just doesn't see the screw ups. He sees His perfect child that was created in His image.

Christianity isn't about being perfect. It is about striving to live life for God and about striving in turn to try and be perfect. This is what Christianity is about. People who love each other because they have an eternal life in Heaven. We aren't here to be condescending. We are here to show you the truth. to live as God wants you to and striving to be perfect. We all screw up, that's a fact of life. Jesus wiped away the screw ups in God's eyes. Jesus wiped the slate clean. Jesus is the reason you go to Heaven. This is the truth of Christianity.
